The Best Racing Wheels for Forza Horizon 6

Horizon is not a simulator, and that changes what a wheel needs to do here. You are not chasing tenths — you are chasing the moment grip goes away, which is a question of feedback detail rather than raw strength.

What matters here

Feedback detail over torque. A high-torque wheel set up badly feels worse in Horizon than a modest one set up well. 8Nm is comfortably enough.

Rotation range. Horizon’s cars are tuned around fast steering. 900 to 1080 degrees is the useful window; more is a simulator feature you will not use.

Pedals. Almost every bundled pedal set is the weakest part of the package. If your budget is fixed, a cheaper wheel plus better pedals beats the reverse.

Who should buy what

If you play Horizon regularly and nothing else, the belt drive is genuinely enough. If you also play simulators, buy the direct drive once rather than the belt drive twice.

Do you need one at all?

Honestly, no. Horizon is designed around a controller and plays beautifully on one. A wheel changes the experience rather than improving your results — which is a good reason to buy one, but not the reason most guides give you.
